Disclaimer: Perceive this post as you would like to perceive it. Further I am still to get out of that fantasy mode of life. Strangely though that fantasy has become a reality for me, finally all the cricket records mentioned could be wrong to the core coz presently my memory is quite sore. Also nothing to be imposed otherwise let me be deposed as an so so poor Blogger which I proudly lay my claim to.
Enjoy if you can!! :P
Hi All,
So here we are the moment has arrived. The very moment for which I waited some million or what some billion moments of 2010 and we already are some million moments farther in to 2011. Time just runs away faster than any of the fastest objects made by the any of the fastest conscious of any of the fastest human race in the shortest possible history of fully conscious Homo sapiens. Don't be so fast on time and always take your time!!:p Time also runs faster than life!! Well, who runs faster than time then? Any Idea? Any conception? Any Inception? Any Perception?
Ah forget it!! I promised masala in 2011. So here you go, masala is here.

Sometime at the end of financial year 1995-96
WHY the term FINANCIAL? Don’t worry this is not some financial news. But finance and the game of cricket would be synonymous after some 15 or what 16 years, I as a very young kid had no clue in '95-96. I was just a 10 year old kid trying to understand the game and we had this premier league which we started at a premier street in our premier locality. Ultimate fun it was. Oh! Straying away from the topics is just way of life for me. Why should this blog suffer?
So My Dad was watching this game... it was the West indies v Kenya at the 1996 wills world cup. Incidentally it became my first cricket match which I watched till the very end and Kenya won against a very formidable West indies. Here you go! My first match. :P
Cricket initially requires a lot of patience. Lot of technical understanding and the full day or some time even 5 days of dedication and commitment. I am talking about the audience only. Indian cricket team at that time hardly had these qualities. So you can imagine how much dedicated and committed we Indians as "audience" are "तमाशबीन लोग" :D. And then the next big thing was the Quarter final at Bangalore against the defending champions and arch rivals Pakistan. I had no idea they were defending champions then!! My dad said "We will lose this game easy, we are a weak team".."It would be such a shame to lose at our home turf" and "It would be difficult to breath and blah blah. So we had Pakistan as our enemy number one in our blood. No sportsmanship when India played Pakistan those days. Infact any day for me. Still!! Crores are with me on this. No losing to Pakistan. And very surprisingly to all, India won that game. And I was hooked. Very next game we had the ultimate shame too and it was aggravated with a poor boy crying in the middle of the Eden Gardens. A precocious talent washed away in tears. He should have had learned from his friend. Who is referred to "God" nowadays.
Well since then I have been enjoying this great game but the only dampener till this day has been NOT seeing the Indian team with their 2nd WC trophy. I hope this 2011 is ours and I have full faith in our leader Dhoni. Leaders play a critical role in ensuring that teams go the distance. Like Kapil, Imran, Border, Ranatunga and Waugh in '83,'92,'87,‘96 and ‘99 respectively. Ponting never needed leadership skills as his team had so much power that it could have or has won any tournament since then. Well to be fair on Ponting, he too is a good leader. But this world cup is any body's game in a general opinion and even the experts would concur with me. Finally I hope this year 2010-11 does not end as a financial year for our cricketers but as an year of great success.

Wow, what an amazing start I have had to this year. Just few days have passed and I am living such a peaceful life like never before, May be because I have discovered my own Mecca. And it is just a 150,000 meters from where I stay. Well, May be that distance could well just be a 150 "nanometers". One just never knows!! haha Well, The place is “VRINDAVAN”. The Holy Seat of the Supreme Master of everything, or the answer to the theory of everything for a Scientist. And let me tell you that if you meet me OR If you wish so, I could prove it to you that THE SUPREME MASTER was here 5000 years ago, Yes he was here. He is the only God. But this is the world of "One God, Billion beliefs"
FOR me though-->Lord Krishna--> My firm belief!!And I have proven this scientifically. :)) Don't ask How?:P
So many journeys- December 31st pack:5:30 AM
The engine of the Aston Martin was roaring but the operator of the engine was snoring. Well how come? FYI, No matter how much comfort my bed could produce for me, but my sleep could always reduce me. :p.
A frantic call from our Iron uncle was enough to wake me up. With his customary efficiency he had ensured that the Aston martin was loaded with 5 ppl including the operator and the journey had begun. Iron uncle would make us scramble to pack all stuff, almost abducting us and would consistently ask me to speed up on the highway to ensure that we reach the Holy seat on time. And Within 3 hours we were there.
And then arrived, the rare moment of lucidity and the God presented itself, The only dimension of all dimensions. The Supreme power! and I latched on this Great opportunity. PEACE AND FULFILLED I FELT. My senses felt refreshed after all the torture they had suffered. In India its assault on the senses, can be through some bunch of corruption stories, bunch of insanely stupid movies being played on the screen. The munnis sheilas and of course the bunch of personal tragedies been inflicted on my senses on the very daily basis. Like career, friends etc etc.
Anyway, the next few hours went chit-chatting, and catching up on the latest in life was great. In keeping with the tradition of the visits to the Supreme we ate at असली पप्पू ka dhaba while going and असली प्रकाश while on our way back. Also a lot of temple and sightseeing in Braj. And do not ever miss the lassi just outside the main street of banke bihari temple.
By the time we reached back home, the year 2010 was in its dying stages. And the icing on the cake was that 2011 had arrived. :))
Hope you had a fab START to 2011!
God Bless!
Enjoy if you can!! :P
