Hi All,
This is what.. sorry I forgot the date....ya 26th. I hope I got this right.. and I am at my home relaxing but the cost is being paid and that cost is a very sad and a dull life.
Well this so called "useful period" for which I left my job is fast turning or rather has already turned into a "resting period" courtesy my extreme lethargic nature...
Monotonous life is very much the theme here and what's worst is that I just don't do anything. I mean I just can't find an alternative to my sleep. Average 16-20 hours a day. Would you believe that?
The brain is very much empty and recently it has been working like a time machine.
The time machine kicks off on its own and then comes to a halt in the year 2004 and then further takes a forward gear.
"NIEC"
Yes the four letter word would always be a part of my life. I still remember that fateful day of the year 2004 when I attended the counselling session for getting admitted to the great university of IndraPrastha in Delhi. We all had heard that this was a university which was least preferred for all the aspiring enggs in the area and getting through this would be a cake walk. But for some reason and our "Ill luck factor" which accompanied us through out had some other plans. Suddenly everyone in Delhi wanted a piece of this university.
Thank fully or not or whatever I some how managed to get through in the 2nd counselling.
By the time of the 2nd counsl. this "least preferred" univ became the "most preferred" and I admit that I was happy regarding this engg. course in Delhi.
I remember the very first day of the college and ya the college itself. It is in the area of Delhi where the population density is humongous and literally a desert separates it from the highway. I know the population and desert doesn't make any sense but trust me that's how it was. Daily I had to bear this highly frustrating journey which always dampened mine spirits to be an engineer...
"College Crowd" was ok sort but was a rare commodity due to the fact that college was only in its 2nd year of existence. Though it was good from the infrastructure point of you but for the dislike was still very much under construction.
I was always a private person and never really cared making too many friends.I still I am. Forget about friends!! Faculty was thin in number but was enough for the number of students the college had. good teacher:student ratio for some one doing a survey on delhi colleges!!
Lot of time was spend outside college rather being inside. Clearing the semesters were easy pickings as personally I never studied but some how managed to make the cut at the very last juncture. It was a typical college life with mixed moments of happiness and some time even humiliation..
well don't take my views about the Niec seriously because this may vary from person to person. and don't take any any negativity from this blog as its mere a frustration deposition center of mine.
The time machine fast forwards itself back in the present times.
I really don't have much to share but still for the record I do all the basics all right. I get up in the morning and I sleep at nights. Thats it. Sometimes I take out my Alto for a drive and I feel m driving xcedingly well and super fast for some one who has learnt the skills a few months back and that's probably is the only cool part of life left.
I hope I achieve what I set out for early this year..though the hopes are fast diminishing... but I need your blessings for that....
I will keep you in the loop regarding any happenings or ms-happenings and I hope you liked the time machine stint. I also hope you missed the hahas of the blog but trust me the life itself is turning out to be a haha these days.
Thank you!
